Refund Policy – Marine Canterbury

We offer a 14-day return policy, giving you 14 days from the date you receive your item to request a return.

Eligibility for Returns

To qualify for a return:

  • The item must be unused, in its original condition and packaging, with all tags attached.

  • A receipt or valid proof of purchase is required.

To initiate a return, please contact us at admin@marinec.co.nz. If your return is approved, we’ll email you with confirmation and detailed instructions on where and how to return the item.

Please do not send items back without contacting us first—unauthorised returns will not be accepted.

  • Return shipping is at your expense.

  • A restocking fee may apply.

Damaged or Incorrect Items

Please inspect your order upon collection or delivery. If an item is damaged, defective, or incorrect, contact us immediately so we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Non-Returnable Items

The following items cannot be returned:

  • Whole goods including outboards, power equipment, trailers, and boats.

  • Special orders or custom-built products

  • Clearance or sale items

  • Gift cards

  • Batteries, hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases

  • Perishable goods and personal care items (where applicable)

Exchanges

If you’d like to exchange an item, the fastest method is to return it first (if eligible), then place a new order once the return is confirmed.

Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your return, we’ll notify you of the approval status. If approved, your refund will be processed to your original payment method. Please note that it may take additional time for your bank or credit card provider to complete the transaction.
